During his set at the V Festival Saturday night (8/20), rapper Jay-Z paid tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, who committed suicide last month.
Jay-Z performed ‘Encore/Numb,’ which was a track that was included on the Collision Course album that he and Linkin Park released back in 2004.
Before Jay-Z performed the Collision Course track, he asked the crowd to ‘light it up’ for Bennington.
Bennington’s body was discovered in his home on July 20th. He did not leave a suicide note.
